There is a beautiful church, wonderful architecture, an elephant statue dating from the 1700's and a stunning fountain. Not overly crowded, and we enjoyed a singer playing guitar by the elephant statue. Felt safe for tourists. If you are in Catania, take a few minutes to walk through the Piazza del Duomo to enjoy the beautiful sites!
