Freaker Hordes are a prominent hazard in Days Gone. There are a total of 40 Hordes in game, each of them having multiple points they travel between. Hordes are comprised of between 25 and 500 Swarmers. Each horde is positioned in various environments and shows slight differences between each other. They will typically hibernate somewhere dark in those environments and come out during the night.

Try and find them in a cave and set proximity bombs. Then use attractors and attractor bombs to bring them out. Use molotovs as they come out and try to shoot from a distance. If you hid in shrubs they will turn around and walk back to the cave. You can walk up behind them and do stealth kills on a bunch.
