To attach the binding, start by folding it in half and press. Then open it back up and line up the raw edges with the raw edge of your potholder. Clip or pin the binding to each of the potholders. Sew the binding to the potholder using a quarter-inch seam allowance. Fold the binding over to the backside and press.

Repeat this process three times. Place all three of your folded and stitched cardstock elements together in a star shape. Gather all the stitched end tails together in your hand and tie in a knot, bringing the corners together securely. Then cut any access thread off. Use a hot glue gun to glue the end pieces together along the short folded edges.
